Dear Reader,
Hi. I am currently attending Sancta Sophia Seminary in order to complete a Master’s degree in Divinity. A project and accompanying thesis are part of the requirement to complete the degree. This page is written to request your participation in my thesis project.
The unofficial name of the thesis project is The Clock and Consciousness Thesis Project. The official name is Discovering Natural Order in the Thirty-Day Cycle.
The theory is that there exists twelve 30-day (give or take a day) cycles (also known as months!) every year that have a predictable daily “energy” (which can be identified and has meaning) as the months progress, day by day. When one relates to this cycle of progression, it is a new way of seeing things that increases one's consciousness and thus increases one's sense of well-being and stimulates holistic healing.
The months that we will be looking at the clock (i.e. doing the project) are March through May of 2012.
If you volunteer to participate, what would be asked of you is:
1) (optional) For the first 10 days of the project, to watch a 5-10 minute training video every day. These will short and sweet and introduce you to the concepts involved. You don't have to watch these in order to participate.
2) Provide your mailing address so I can send you a clock.
3) To track the thirty-day cycle through two cycles (60 days), by opening an email that bears the number and symbol of the day, and instructions regarding the clock.
4) That you pay attention through the day to see if you can detect the resonating energies that are perceived from the symbols. Hints will be offered.
5) (optional) Record synchronistic experiences either via vmail or email.
6) To take a pre-survey and a post-survey that will assess whether you experienced an emotional or deeper (wholistic) transformation from the use of the clock and symbols. It is asked that these results be allowed to be published as a part of the overall results. This will be explained more at greater length later.
